Our services reflect the change we want to see in the world: We are committed to empowering and training Orthodox women in Israel to maximize employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and financial success. We are your partner in the pursuit of financial growth and stability. We are your partner in fostering the professional development, networking, workplace culture and language skills required in today’s marketplace. We work with you to identify employment options, get you ready to work or elevate your current employment situation, and ultimately, help you find the right place for you to achieve beyond what you ever imagined possible for you and your family. In addition to working with you directly, we also partner with both industry leaders, non profit leaders and government officials to tailor training and placement programs to our specific needs as Orthodox women. You can succeed. You will succeed. We are partners in success.

The New Frontier

We are constantly developing innovative new programs to address today’s ever-changing professional climate. We are proud to stand at the forefront of developing markets and continually address the changing needs of our clientele. Your suggestions are both welcome and valuable.

pre employment

Pre-Employment

Ready, Set, Earn!

Our Employer Based Training Program (EBT), one of our longest-running and most successful programs, addresses the multitude of barriers to employment for Orthodox women in Israel, including both stereotyping and skill deficiency… head on.

How it works:
We identify large employers willing to commit to hiring Orthodox women, provided the candidates have completed customized training programs specially designed for the employer’s needs.
We then recruit appropriate candidates for the training programs, implement them, and graduate those who have derived the key skill sets.
Then, the designated employers hire our graduates.
Everybody wins.

This program, running nearly 10 years, has catalyzed a revolutionary shift in employing Orthodox women in prominent industries throughout Israel. By negotiating mutually-beneficial terms with major employers, we have created sustainable, long-term employment opportunities for our community.

Since its inception, our EBT program has positioned more than 5,000 women in more than 20 cities across Israel to secure stable employment. Become one of them.

job creation

Job Creation

Looking for a job?
Not just ANY job, but a job where you can excel, achieve and earn well?
A job where you can be comfortable with your skills as well as the company’s schedule, culture and environment?
Are you a company that needs talented, dedicated employees in Israel?
You’ve come to the right place.

We offer not only job placement advice and coaching, but we also act as a “market maker.” That means:

We work with major Israel employers (Intel, Microsoft, Amdocs – big names!) to create job opportunities for Orthodox women

We then prepare our clientele for those opportunities and place them in those roles

We work with American and European companies to encourage outsourcing to the Israeli workforce

We partner with overseas firms to develop Israel-based options

We provide corporations with consultancy services advising them on the advantages of hiring Orthodox women while simultaneously helping them access governmental subsidies and grants

We’ve selected areas based on feedback from our communities; each field has proven to be an attractive career choice for Orthodox women, so we work hard to provide tools for our clients to succeed in the fields of their choice.

Our courses are either free or subsidized, and therefore financially feasible for most of our clients. If, however, you find the fees challenging or outside your reach, don’t walk away. We refuse to allow financial status to hold you back from the education you need to achieve your goal.

Talk to us about vouchers, loans and further subsidies for those who qualify.

Temech also advises religious schools and seminaries on curriculum development, and designing training programs which will provide the best job opportunities for their graduates and to reduce time-to-market for job seekers.

Freelance Project

At Temech, one of our goals is to present a range of employment opportunities so that women in our communities can maximize both their efficiency and earning power simultaneously. While securing full time employment is a significant achievement, we’ve learned that unfortunately, it often does not allow for the flexibility that many of us require in order to successfully balance our professional ambitions with our family lives.

Although many of us were under the impression for many years that we had only two earning options: getting a job or starting a business, in today’s economy, that’s no longer the case.

Therefore, last year, we introduced our community to the freelance market business model. Our Freelance Project offers customized education programs to women like you (yes, you!) to position you to successfully access the growing number of opportunities within the freelance economy. We’ve partnered with both Xplace, Israel’s most successful freelance marketplace, and Fiverr, an internationally recognized freelance marketplace, to create our freelancer training program.

But our support for your potential freelancing career doesn’t stop there; we also offer hands-on training in implementing this new work model, help identifying potential freelancing opportunities, and mentors to provide you with individual guidance and support.

Entrepreneurship

The potentially most profitable (yet often most intimidating) opportunity for financial stability is to found and manage your own business. We are with you every step of the way. Our services surrounding entrepreneurship include the following:

Practical guidance in how to launch and grow a business including the financial, management, marketing and bureaucratic challenges

Business plan development

Business viability consultations

Space in the Jerusalem Hub , a private, professional, women-only, kosher workspace in the heart of Jerusalem

Microfunding program

One-on-one mentoring

Jerusalem Hub

You want to work.
And we want you your workspace to work for you.

Our JerusalemHub is a state-of-the-art office and training center which offers entrepreneurs the requisite workspace and tools essential to build and run successful business ventures. Within this professional space, Orthodox women have the opportunity to expand and develop their careers within a comfortable environment.

The JerusalemHub also serves as a platform for professional networking and individualized coaching sessions for business owners. The library offers valuable resources, and the gallery provides artists and entrepreneurs a space to display their work.

And there’s coffee.

Mentorship and Networking Programs

Already inside the workforce and ready to take the next step?
Interested in management, going freelance, or a career change?
Do you need someone who has been there and done that to show you how to go there and do that?
We have you covered.

A mentor/mentee relationship is instrumental for professional advancement and success in any realm, but perhaps even more applicable to Orthodox women since we often struggle with navigating a secular professional environment and the potential stigma of being a minority within it. Recommendations from those who have navigated the environment successfully are incredibly valuable.

Our Mentorship Program matches experienced professionals with those who are just entering the workforce or launching a new business. The mentors provide practical tools including advice on effective marketing, productivity, time management, juggling careers with household responsibilities, and specific challenges that pertain to Orthodox women in a mainstream work environment.

Kesharim Networking Program

Our Networking Program will help you build professional alliances and expand your network. In addition, we will teach you how to network: what to say, how to make the connections which will further your business, and how to foster those relationships. You will learn both how to give to a networking community as well as how to receive from it.

At our networking sessions, which take place regularly nationwide, you will meet others like you who have similar careers or business interests. The structured networking sessions allow for group support and positive peer interaction and motivation.

We provide the infrastructure: advertising and publicity, organizing speakers, training group leaders and administering the logistical details for each meeting. You just need to show up and prepare yourself for success.

Kesharim Forum

Not all of us are on Facebook because not all of us are comfortable there.

Kesharim is an alternative: we offer an online professional network for Orthodox women to share knowledge, resources, opportunities and insights. Our email based forum provides support and connections for nearly 2,000 members to share their experiences and gain from peer to peer interaction.
